Camp Matz

I know we’ve been talking about Haiti, but with the earthquake a few weeks ago safety has become a bigger concern.  So we’ve decided that this may not be the right year for us to have a big push for a High School Ministry trip to Haiti.  When we made that decision it wasn’t a hard one to decide that we should go back to Camp Matz for a week-long servant event!

This summer on July 18 – 24 we’ll head to Camp Matz to help host a summer camp for disabled individuals.  We’ll play games, help with crafts, take campers on nature walks and much more.  Head over to the page dedicated to Camp Matz by clicking on the link for more information.  Remember, we’ve only got a limited number of spots so be sure to sign up fast to secure your place.

Mission Haiti Info Meeting

This Sunday, January 17th is the Mission Haiti Info Meeting.  If you have any interest in this amazing mission trip opportunity then stop by the meeting immediately following the 10:30am service in Room 9.  We’ll have a light lunch, share a lot of information, and much more.  Both parents and students are invited to attend this meeting.  This trip is open to any adults and students currently in High School.  The trip will be held on July 10-17.
