It sounds like a cliche, but our High School and Middle School Ministries wouldn’t exist without the wonderful team of leaders that have joined together to make everything happen. So before we say anything else, we want to say THANK YOU! We know you don’t hear it enough but know that we thank God for you and all you do all the time!
If you’re at all interested in joining the team then we would encourage you to speak with Pat Williams the Director of Student Ministry at Cross of Christ to learn more. You can also always stop by our Leader Training meetings that happen throughout the year. We are always looking for new parents, former students, and well anyone really that might be interested in serving. Whether it’s joining us on a retreat or mission trip, helping out at one of our activity nights, or just keeping the ministry in your prayers; we’d love to have you as a part of the team!
Leader Training Meetings:
One of the things that we ask anyone that serves within the Student Ministry department is that they attend our Leader Training Meetings held throughout the year. These two hour meetings will be held in Room 9 after the 10:30am service. Each meeting will begin with a free lunch and contain a short devotion, upcoming event discussions, and youth ministry specific trainings.
Our next few meetings are scheduled for:
- February 6
- April 3
- June 5
- August 7

Pat, Do you need to attend only one Leader Training Meeting or are they all different, pertaining to specific events throughout the year?
Each YLT will cover different training topics throughout the year. These meetings are meant to be a regular opportunity for any interested in helping within the Student Ministry to receive training as well as learn more about the ministry and what we have coming up.
